Motoring with Tilmann
		My first car I drove in was my mum's '58 VW Beetle which she still drives. We also had a VW Variant 1600 L but upgraded that to a VW Jetta GL, which we wrote off in Namibia in 1988. Since then we had a Jetta GLS and a superb Jetta CLX 1988, which my mum had stolen recently. She's now onto her fourth generation Jetta, a 2000 model Jetta 4 or Bora. Things changed when I bought a 1986 Landrover Series III together with Frieder in 1992, which grew on us emotionally but we finally sold in April 2001. (More of Frieder's recent Landrover tales are on this interesting site.) I had a Honda Accord in the UK from 1993 to 1995, and drove Frieder's Golf in the UK in 1998, which was a story of it's own... I also love my Honda Dominator which is the first ever new vehicle I have bought, in Griffith in 1996. We drove a Mercedes 190E in the UK in 2000, a great car to have! I am still a great fan of Toyota's Landcruiser which I bought in Australia in 1996 before shipping it to South Africa-, hopefully one day I will be able to drive one again!We had a Mercedes SLK since 2001 (Outstanding vehicle!) and for driving with the kiddies we now have a Subaru Outback 2005. Not sure what the future will bring, but my son Edward so far seems to LOOOOVE cars!!!
